Step 2: Divinity School Grant

The Divinity School Grant is based upon financial need. It is available to full-time M.Div. and M.A. students and is given on a first-come, first-served basis. Financial need is determined in part from the amount of expected family contribution (after a student completes a FAFSA) and from other financial aid the student has independently obtained. The grant is then allocated by calculating a percentage of the need. The maximum amount of the grant is 100% tuition. The student account is credited the grant award per semester, in a ratio equal to the number of registered classes.

New students will receive a grant application during the admission process and it must be submitted before the first day of the semester in which you enroll. The application is not complete until the FAFSA is completed. A student must demonstrate financial need on an annual basis by completing the FAFSA.
