of Regents to award master’s and doctoral degrees

- The Divinity School became a fully accredited member of The Association of
Theological Schools in the United States and Canada in 1938.

- In addition to state and professional accrediting institutions,
Colgate Rochester Crozer is approved by the University Senate of the United
Methodist Church. The school’s rich course offerings can also help
prepare for ordination in a variety of other denominations.
- The Divinity School is certified by the United States Government for the
training of veterans and the education of chaplains for military service and
for the enrolling of nonimmigrant alien students.
- Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School participates with its covenant partners, Bexley Hall and St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry in the Rochester area. Approved students have the privilege of cross registration.
