Given to two women at the annual Helen Barrett Montgomery Conference at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, by the Office of Women and Gender in Church and Society.
The two women who receive the award shall be honored for modeling ways of passing on tradition, engaging in the struggle, and carrying the torch, for women's issues, concerns and vision. Candidates who are selected shall reflect women's wonderful diversity.
A plaque will record the names of the women who have received the award and a small commemorative token will be given at the time of presentation to those honored.
