Changing lives, changing communities, changing the world.
Heritage
“We are a seminary that represents the best of an evangelical-liberal theological heritage. We are evangelical in that we value a diverse range of historical Protestant heritages and are able to express these theological streams in a school that affirms ecumenical diversity and strong Christian commitment. We are liberal in that we uphold free theological inquiry and value a broad range of viewpoints and perspectives. What most defines the heritage of CRCDS, however, is its unequivocal integration of deep Christian spirituality and social justice.
- Christopher H. Evans, Vice President for Academic Life, Dean of Faculty, Sallie Knowles Crozer Professor of Church History and Director of United Methodist Studies
